Basic Info BioAll right, then...here are the basics.
26 years old, I live in a small city in Ontario. I'm a writer, a book addict, a musician (violin, bagpipes, and a soprano in two choirs), and a licensed, if not practicing, teacher. I am also a volunteer music teacher of sorts, as I've been teaching students new to the Great Highland Bagpipe for the past few years. Occasionally, I've been known to deface my sketchbook with drawing pencils and (occasionally) calligraphy in variously-coloured inks. I paint my nails so that I don't chew them; it's working quite nicely. My taste in nail polish tends to be a little odd, though; over the years my nails have been purple, blue and iridescent purple/green/blue/red/sparkly grey/whatever else the polish looks like in various lights. Currently, I've got them painted a relatively normal garnet-ish red. As for pets—well, it's a little inaccurate to say that I've got two cats. Better say that two cats have got me. It is very seldom that I am not covered in cat hair. Recently a pair of budgies have joined the madness here, and life's been a bit noisier ever since—and I don't mind a bit. :)
By the way, if you see the name "Pennfana" somewhere else, chances are it's probably me—at least, I've never seen anyone else using it. The name itself was randomly generated by a program at a Lord of the Rings fan site called "The Barrow Downs".
Anyway, be warned: my updates here will probably be as sporadic as they are anywhere else. Life's pretty busy. :)
